International Ceramic Art Exhibition of Changsha Kiln Kicks Off, Inheriting Ancient Underglaze Color Craftsmanship

The “Tribute to Changsha Kiln” International Ceramic Art Exhibition officially opened at the Changsha Tongguan Kiln Museum on June 7, 2026, and will last until August 16. It is the first large-scale international exhibition themed on Changsha Kiln in China.
A total of 99 selected premium ceramic pieces from home and abroad are on display. The exhibits restore the ancient firing techniques of Tang Dynasty underglaze colored porcelain, while incorporating modern artistic concepts and innovative materials. Meanwhile, the inheritance training program for Tongguan ceramic craftsmanship was launched, carrying forward the time-honored ceramic culture along the ancient Maritime Silk Road.
